Well then...I haven't done this for awhile (hahaha). Anyway, I know it's strange, but out of the blue I just had an urge to write an LJ entry.
So Project Runway winner=Christian! I must say, though he acts like a twit/prick, he's rather hilarious. And his stuff is so inventive and dark. I thoroughly enjoyed [what I saw of] this season. I hope Top Chef isn't lame, and I don't have to listen to the morons at school talk about it when I get back. (Cause God knows no one there can talk about anything but food.)
I get to meet Will's mom tomorrow morning for breakfast! I'm really really nervous...I don't know why. I'm not usually worried about adults I meet not liking me (I always try to be super polite and sweet), but who knows. And yes, that means I get to see Will too!!! I'm so excited. He should be getting in tonight around ten, so I was kind of hoping we could go out on a date together. If not, we'll just have to wait until the 24th.
I'm coming home on Sunday!!! I'm so excited. I can't wait to see everyone again. I just wish it were summer so that I could actually see everyone. Oh well...I'll probably be around during the first week of August. I'm making dinner for my cousin's birthday on Monday, which should be fun. I'm making an Asian meal, consisting of one Japanese appetizer and two Chinese entrees.
I have the hiccups and they won't go away. I hate that.

ever feel that you simply need to make an ass out of yourself, aleast once?
i had a friend that told me every once in a while that, "hey, you only have [insert number here] more months left to make an ass out of yourself this year, so you need to get going on that." it seems ridiculous, but she really did seem a lot happier for not bottling everything up all the time. maybe i need to take more chances.

So, rehearsals just started and they're pretty fun so far. I'm trying to think of more snacky things that can be bought in bulk...
Anyway, I got accepted to the CIA...but....no word on the goddam scholarships! So I have no idea if I can even go there. I'm pretty pissed off because I thought that they might be telling me in my acceptance letter, but oh well.
Man, I'm tired..I think I might have a caffeine problem.

i just made an omelet, and i must say, it's quite good. and i'm quite bored. perhaps i should play the sims...
i don't really know what to say except that i'm unusually cheery lately and i don't know why...it would be really great to know. oh well. i'm really glad that half of the year is over. except, i really do not like my new schedule for the second semestre:
1) Orchestra
2) Economics
3) Study Hall/Phys. Ed.
4) Calculus
5) Jewelry
6) Lunch
7) English
8) Photography
i really wish i could drop photography; it's the most pathetic excuse for an art class i've ever had to endure. and economics is not going to be as much fun as PIG, i can tell already. and i'm really going to miss philosophy. and no one is in my gym class!! oh well.
the english exam was really weird, and i don't quite feel like taking the rest of it. and i'm dreading the philosophy exam as well. god.
anyway...i am excited to have so many breaks coming up, and then the eventual end of the year as well. it's great, we have one in january, february, april, and then summer. prom should be fun too...i have no idea what i'm going to wear though.
i just wrote an entire entry about practically nothing...i have got to stop doing that...

Wicked was absolutely fantastic. You know how you get shivers sometimes when someone hits a really lovely note? Well, I think my entire body went numb during Defying Gravity. I still haven't finished the book, so I need to do that and then read Son of a Witch as well. I have to say, I really liked how the musical ended. I think that depressing/realistic endings are overrated. There's nothing wrong with a little bliss sometimes. It is pretend after all.
On another note, I got accepted to Johnson & Wales! They offered me 7500 a year, so depending on whether or not I get into CIA, I'm going to see what they offer me, and make my decision then. They're both very good schools, so even though CIA is my top choice, I would go to either one. It's just that CIA is the only school I visited, and I love the campus, and it's much closer than J&W. But who knows...
Happy Holidays!

What is wrong with me?
- Music:strawberry fields forever (new version)
Homemade hot cocoa is so much better than powdered hot cocoa mix.
I got my reportcard today and it made me slightly nervous seeing fewer classes on it than in past years. But I figured that since I was taking some challenging courses and getting good grades in all my classes, then it wasn't so bad. I need a job though. Does anyone have any suggestions? I think I might wait until I turn 18, so then someone will actually hire me to work in a kitchen. I wouldn't even mind doing a voluntary internship or something.
I think that I want to have a small holiday get-together. Nothing crazy, just watching an old black and white christmas movie with hot cocoa and whatnot.
I'm incredibly tired...
...and I have a lot of homework to do.

Today was a wonderful day, even though it was very cold and wet outside. My parents and I went around Lancaster so I could take photographs. I hope I atleast got one really good shot... After I finished the roll we went to East Aurora and had dinner at Taste. I had a chicken salad (with cranberries, walnuts, red onions, and field greens) wrap. I also had a mudslide, which was basically a mocha, but a hundred times better. I absolutely love that place...and they're hiring, but it's kind of far away. I definitely want to own a place like that in the future. Large-scale restaurants really aren't for me. Well, atleast as far as I can tell right now.
I think I'm going to see RENT with my sister afterall. My mother said she'd rather see Wicked with me, so hopefully that will work out.
I'm tired and cold...so I think I'm just going to go change and watch tv/do homework.
Good night!
p.s.---i think i need to fall in love.

Yesterday; SAT's sucked. But I watched Breakfast at Tiffany's and had pizza and worked on my tote, so that made it better.
note to self: learn how to turn off car alarm more quickly and discretely before people think you are insane
Today, lazed about the house pretty much the whole day. My mother made french toast and I finished my tote (well, pretty much). I should probably read...
Did I have any homework?
Oh, shit...I forgot about ordering the flowers for the concert. I should do that tomorrow; I doubt they'll be open today.
So happy that we have two day 2's in a row this week, so I have less gym. Plus, that means that this week will have only 2 gym classes and next week will have only 2 gym classes! Although, I must say, I've really enjoyed gym so far this year; we had football first, then tennis/ping-pong, and now we're starting floor hockey. Those three, plus pickleball and lawn games are probably the only ones that I actually get into.
Anyway, I turn 18 in about 50 days. yay! I have no clue what to do for my birthday. People think 18 is a big deal for some reason, but I don't see it. I can already see R-rated movies at Flix, because they just don't care, and then it's not like I'm going to go vote or join the army on my birthday either, or buy anything from an infomercial (those things are dangerous, so I better just not watch them)...so whatever. Atleast I'll get to vote in the presidential election, even though Bush has to leave anyway, so it's not as exciting. Oh well, there's probably some people as retarded as Bush that I can vote against.
I need to get some Starbucks flavoured syrup for my cappuccinos. Caramel and mocha just don't cut it anymore. I need some excitement.
I had a really peculiar dream last night, of which I can only remember one part, but that's okay, because that was the best part...lol. Did you ever have a dream that just made you think about someone or something that you never really thought of before? I get that all the time, and it's so weird, because it's just a dream, but it's so real, that, I don't know, you just have to think about it.
I'm quite anxious about Christmas this year. Not for the presents or anything, but just the feeling of it. Christmastime just makes me feel like nighttime, and candles and deep crimson, and hot cocoa, and black and white movies. I can't really explain it, but it's my favourite time of the year. I'm really anticipating the end of our autumn concert, so we can start holiday music. The Waltz from the Nutcracker Suite is absolutely devine, and we also found a few others that I hope Tokasz will consider. Seeing as we'll most likely butcher all of our songs, I suppose it wouldn't be that bad if we didn't play them. However, I have mastered this fabulous technique of tuning out the rest of the orchestra while I'm playing, so maybe then I'll just get to enjoy a few of the first violins, violas, and cellos. Of course I can never really hear the basses anyway, so that doesn't really matter. Oh well, it's worth a try.
I've said almost nothing in this entire entry, but yet it's incredibly long...hmmm...
I should probably go read. Maybe I'll make some seafood bisque or banana bread instead. Yes. Procrastination is where it's at.

Sadly, Halloween this year was utterly boring and uneventful. I did homework.
Plus, television programming is nothing like it used to be.
What the hell happened to The Worst Witch (the movie with Tim Curry and that chick from The Craft when she was younger)??? And the Disney Halloween special that they always used to play, and all those other good ones? Kids today have no idea how crappy their shows really are compared to the shows we had when we were little.
Oh well.
I really wanted to see RENT with my mom, and then when I was telling my sister about it, she's like, "Oh! I'll buy them!" and I said no and that we were going to, and she says, "What's her name? I want to buy them." So I'm complaining to my mother that Tara's threatening to buy them, and my mom says that Tara and I should go instead. So my sister agreed, but I feel horrible because I know my mom wanted to go, and I really wanted to go with her. So I figured I would tell my mom that and maybe she would have the courage to say that she wanted to go (which she hardly ever does, and then gets all sad after everything's said and done, and then there's no way to fix it). I hope my sister backs off. That spoiled brat already saw Annie, The Wedding Singer, and Phantom, all on broadway, and she knows nothing about RENT. Meanwhile, my mom and I both saw RENT together and absolutely loved everything about it.

i think i might be a freak...but i'm not sure
(i don't really mean that; i don't know if he was a flip-flopper or not, but i'm just remembering last year when carol said that to me because i couldn't decide if i was going to the prom or not...but whatever, that's not the point, i just thought i would explain myself)
Anyway, I decided to change my Halloween costume. again. I found an old one that I had worn in maybe 6th grade? I don't know...but much to my extreme suprise, I tried it on yesterday and it still fits. So, since it's already made, (very nicely made, I might add [my father made it]) and I can kind of do a few different things with it, I'll probably wear that one.
So, I don't know if I've officially announced it yet, so I probably should so that people will actually show up. I'm having a Halloween party on October 28th (it's a Saturday), and everyone's invited. It's a costume party, and there will be lots of harvesty-type appetizers and deserts and drinks and such. Plus, the house is newly painted in [it just so happens] autumn colors, and everything's decorated all nice, and the basement is sort of creepy and dark, so we could play pool downstairs and such. So, I don't really know what else we can do, but I'm sure someone will think of something fun.
So, yeah. I hope everyone can come.

Today was a rather fun day, I must say.
Joanna and Nick and I stayed until about 4:30 working on the spirit banner, while various groups of people came and left. Now, I'm sitting here, wondering where Amy and Gary are, because I'm all by myself (due to open house). Quite bored, really. Just voted for Lilly Alen for best group in UK/Ireland for the MTV EMA's. Now, there's nothing to do...
Hmmm...
So, I'm a stupid, silly girl who cannot say the things that she really wants to say.
Fuck.
